Original gilt-decorated black cloth a little rubbed, with light wear to the extremities; endpapers and pages adjacent to the plates offset; a very good copy (internally excellent) with a later inscription in light pencil on the front free endpaper ('To Sue, even if a gift is a manipulation - Richard').
