Greetings from 1st Australian Corps, Palestine, to the Home Folks [cover title]

A card bifolium (138 × 100 mm), comprising the title, salutations, five quatrains of verse, last page blank.

Foxed and a little creased; basically in very good condition.

The card is to Glady from Owen; undated, but 1941. The light topical verse, 'When Xmas Comes To Gaza', is by Stuart Young. 'King George'll have his slice of pud, in dear old london town | With duck, an' peas, an' milo [sic] old cheese, an' richest gravy brown | Adolf will feed in heidelberg, an' musso in his plaza | An i'll find my joys, among the boys, when xmas comes to gaza'. The number and type of printing errors suggest a local firm got the job.
