With the ink gift inscription to, and with the bookplates (one pictorial, one armorial) of, Walter Russell Brain, First Baron Brain of Eynsham (1895-1966); physician, medical statesman, essayist, public servant, medical scientist, neurologist and poet (who wrote one of the papers in the References section here - see page 188). Also with the bookplate of eminent Australian neurosurgeon Professor Donald Simpson AO (1927-2018) on the verso of the front flyleaf, and a warm gift inscription to him.
