Original full dark blue leather (probably roan) lettered in gilt on the front cover and spine; extremities slightly bumped and rubbed (a little more so at the ends of the spine); endpapers offset and a little foxed; original ribbon bookmark a little discoloured and frayed at the end; a very good copy (internally excellent).
One of 'The Broadway Booklets' series; the first edition of this work in this series, in flush-cut red card covers, has the date '1903' printed at the foot of the title page.
