Cruising in South Australian Waters. [A Series of Addresses to Members of the Royal South Australian Yacht Squadron by Vice Commodore C.P. Haselgrove OBE (sub-title at the head of the first page)]

[Adelaide, The Author, [circa 1965?] (a copy of the November 1965 newsletter of the RSAYS is loosely inserted; it is addressed to the original owner of the book, from whose estate we purchased it).

Quarto, [i], 13, 11, 12, and 12 leaves of duplicate typescript (printed rectos only, with blank interleaves throughout).

Unlettered binder's cloth (ruled in blind on the sides) lightly rubbed and bumped at the extremities; ownership details on the front pastedown; an excellent copy.

We have previously handled 'Cruising in South Australian Waters. A Series of Addresses in 1942 to Members of the Royal South Australian Yacht Squadron by Vice Commodore C.P. Haselgrove OBE. With minor amendments in 1971' (quarto, [1], 7, 6, 6 and 6 leaves with an illustration plus a frontispiece and numerous blank interleaves). It too was clearly produced privately (and definitely not professionally), presumably in a very limited edition; our copy had the number 25 printed in gilt at the foot of the rear cover, and it came from a member of the author's extended family. The item for sale would appear to be a draft version of the 1971 edition.
