Stapled as issued; both items have a small initialled annotation to the top left-hand corner of an early page, and the second one a small hole in the bottom margin of one leaf (a minor production flaw); trifling signs of age and use; overall, both items are in very good condition.

Commonwealth Parliamentary Papers Number 50 of 1929-30 (only 850 copies), and Number 216 of 1929-30-31 (only 790 copies). The Northern Australia Act of 1926 resulted in the proclamation of the Territories of Central and North Australia on 1 March 1927. Four annual reports were issued by the Government Resident, R.H. Waddell, before the Act was repealed on 11 June 1930. These are the third and fourth reports, and contain detailed accounts by the 'Chief Protector of Aboriginals' (totalling 5 pages), plus reports on health, policing, agriculture, mining and the like.
