[Sydney, Royal Society of New South Wales, 1888].

Octavo, pages 106-187 plus 12 pages of plates (lithographs and photolithographs, numbered iii-xiv); page 187 has corrections in ink to the two magnifications given for plate xiv (which contains the correct information).

Original printed front pink wrapper, in fine condition, bound in contemporary (perhaps original) purple stippled cloth (ruled in blind on the sides and lettered in gilt on the spine) slightly worn on the spine and edges, moderately (but lightly) stained, and affected by moisture, causing it to bubble up from the boards in places and to become mottled; endpapers offset and lightly marked; later (indecipherable) signature in pencil on the front flyleaf; apart from some tiny nicks and creases to the leading edge of a few plates, the contents are in excellent condition.

Not identified as such in so many words, but this is an offprint from the 'Journal and Proceedings of the Royal Society of New South Wales', Volume 22, 1888.
