Contemporary full morocco lettered and decorated in gilt on the spine, with decorative gilt borders on the front and rear covers; top edge gilt; leather lightly marked and scuffed; first and last page and a thin strip around the perimeter of a few early leaves a little tanned (presumably by the acidic boards); overall an excellent copy.

An attractive unsigned binding, with a gift inscription on the verso of the front flyleaf to 'Andrew with best wishes always. E. Toohey 8th February 1931' (perhaps a member of the Toohey family of brewery fame?).
