An endpocket contains a small booklet, 'Notes made by William McCance after visiting bookbinding firms for T.E. Lawrence in 1926' (overlapping wrappers, a fine copy), together with (as issued) the facsimile cheque for £250 (signed 'J.H. Ross'). One of only 240 copies.
