A vintage sepia-toned silver gelatin photograph (244 × 227 mm), backed up with cream card (256 × 238 mm) on the original mount board (400 × 342 mm, signed and captioned by the photographer in black ink in the bottom margin).

A tiny spot of loss to the surface near the bottom left-hand corner; minor silvering-out around the edges; mount board a little foxed; overall, in excellent condition.

The State Library of South Australia holds the original negative (PRG 1218/34/675G) in its Mountford-Sheard Collection, with the date given as 'Approximately 1937'.
