Textured brown cloth (lettered in white on the front cover) a little rubbed and marked; minor blemishes to the endpapers (offsetting, hinges cracked, edges slightly nibbled); a very good copy (internally excellent).
Provenance: with the contemporary ownership signature of F.A. [Francisca Adriana] Delprat, one of five daughters of Guillaume Daniel Delprat, General Manager of BHP from 1899 to 1921 (his portrait appears on page 40). Francisca Adriana Delprat (1891-1974) is better known as Lady Paquita Mawson.
