Loosely inserted is an original photograph (203 × 253 mm, folded down the centre) of the author standing next to his portrait. Lionel Charles Robbins, Baron Robbins, CH, CB, FBA (1898-1984), British economist, and prominent member of the economics department at the London School of Economics. He considered 'that economics is an aspect of all human behaviour because it is based on scarcity: wants are unlimited relative to the means of achieving them' ('Encyclopedia Britannica').
