Small octavo (177 × 133 mm),  pages (first and last leaves blank) with the publisher's device in red on the title page, a tipped-in two-colour acknowledgements slip, a wood-engraved self-portrait of the artist, a two-colour design (by Geoffrey Ingleton) at the rear, and 10 tipped-in original bookplates by Godson ('from the original copper plates and wood blocks').
Quarter blue cloth and papered boards with a small paper title-label ('J.B.G. Bookplates') mounted on the front cover; all edges uncut; covers slightly rubbed and marked; endpapers a little browned; a very good copy, with the bookplates in fine condition.
The short (three-page) introductory essay is by Camden Morrisby. Number 58 of only 150 copies (with the first 60 reserved for the New South Wales Bookplate Club).
