Quarter parchment and gilt-decorated green cloth over bevel-edged boards, top edge gilt, others uncut; parchment discoloured and rubbed, cloth slightly marked and scuffed; inner hinges starting to crack, but firm; light scattered foxing; a very good copy.

Provenance: William Alfred Westropp Foyle (1885-1963), the eponymous British bookseller, with his small leather 'Beeleigh Abbey' bookplate.
