Gilt-pictorial blue cloth, leading and bottom edges uncut; covers a little rubbed and bumped, with a small sunned spot on the spine; flyleaves a little offset; an excellent copy with the dustwrapper a little torn, creased and chipped, with minor loss to the head of the spine and one corner.

With the bookplate of South Australian social and political activist Agnes K. Goode (1872-1947), the 'first woman in South Australia to win a contest for election to a municipal council' ('The Advertiser', 21 February 1947).
