Colour-pictorial card covers, with a colour advertisement for the Orient Line on the outside rear; covers a little rubbed at the extremities, with a few trifling chips to the spine; old price in pencil on the front panel; acidic text paper tanned; minimal signs of use and age; an excellent copy (probably as good as they come).
The very rare first edition of this classic work on Australian sheepdogs and cattledogs. This copy, a collector's piece in collector's condition, is the first one we have handled, and easily the best one we have found reference to over the decades.
