Light green cloth lettered in dark green; edges of the covers and the text block lightly foxed; flyleaves offset and slightly marked; minimal scattered light foxing and mild signs of handling; a very good copy with the good dustwrapper rubbed, marked, tanned, chipped and torn with minor loss, and split along most of the length of both hinges of the spine.
'With an appreciation of the medium by Norman Lindsay and a biographical survey of the artist's life and works by Godfrey Blunden' (subtitle). The edition was limited to 1850 copies; production was interrupted by the war and the edition was completed in 1945 (a less appealing variant).
