[Magill], Auldana Vineyards, 1906.

Oblong octavo, [8] pages with a facsimile inscription and 5 full-page illustrations (from photographs).

Cord-bound overlapping burgundy wrappers lettered in white; light vertical crease throughout; a few trifling marks; an excellent copy.

Richard Seddon, New Zealand's longest-serving Prime Minister, died on his return journey to New Zealand, less than two weeks after the events commemorated in this pictorial souvenir. Provenance: Alexander John Morison, Town Clerk of Adelaide, 1937-46, but an employee of the Adelaide City Council from the 1890s. He was one of the fifty guests at the luncheon thrown for Seddon on the day; he has identified himself in the relevant illustration in the booklet with the marginal annotation in ink 'A.J. Morison (Mayor's Sec)'.
