Oblong octavo (127 × 213 mm), [14] leaves (rectos only), comprising the title leaf, 12 full-page illustrations (from photographs), and an index leaf at the rear.
Overlapping wrappers lightly chipped and marked; an excellent copy.
The photographer, 319 Private William Edwin Leslie Clapham, was at Gallipoli at the time of the landings, in which he almost certainly took part. Evacuated to Malta with a gunshot wound to his hand on 14 May 1915, he served there briefly as a policeman before being declared unfit and sent back to Australia.
