The reports are dated 30 July 1836 and 2 February 1837. Interesting observations abound, such as 'The Convicts have continued healthy; although many are brought to the Hulk in a very diseased and emaciated condition, who are not only unfit for labour, but are in such a state as to render it impossible to carry their sentences into effect by actual transportation to the Australian Settlements'.
