With photographs by Frank Hurley. An excellent and surprisingly frank depiction of life at the front published in London in 1917, with a frontispiece by Will Dyson and a preface by General Birdwood. The series of photographs are acknowledged as being taken by four official photographers: Hurley, Brooks, Baldwin and Wilkins (the last of the AFC).
