A group of 24 menus issued by the Fujiya Hotel, Miyanoshita, Hakone, Japan, between 17 January and 11 February 1934
The menus are printed on both sides of octavo-format thick card. The recto contains the bill of fare for either lunch or dinner (there is just one for breakfast), usually with a line or two printed in red. The verso carries an article relating either to Japanese culture or the local area, with small illustrations or decorations (often printed in monochrome).
The dinner menu for Friday 18 August 1933, and a companion card showing 'The Seven Gods of Luck', are included. [26 items].
