Cloth lightly rubbed; top edge slightly marked; an excellent copy with the dustwrapper a little sunned and marked, with a short jagged closed tear to the spine, and two small bookseller's labels pasted over the original price printed on the spine.
Provenance: the pioneering Australian children's book bibliographer Marcie Muir, with her George Perrottet-designed bookplate (an attractive handcoloured woodcut of a vase of Australian native flowers, in her maiden name, Marcie Collett).
