Adelaide, Printed by Vardon & Sons [for Hoopers Limited], [circa 1922] (9 January 1922 is the date on the most recent testimonial letter quoted on the outside rear wrapper).

Oblong folio, 122, [2] (detachable order form) pages with hundreds of illustrations (the first 6 pages printed in full colours) plus text on all surfaces of the covers.

[Two]-colour pictorial wrappers creased and lightly marked, with minimal surface loss; minor conservation work (a small section of the leading margin of the front cover has been replaced, affecting the last two letters of 'Ltd', and a few short tears to the wrappers and the leading margin of the first seven leaves have been sealed); small piece torn from the bottom corner of one leaf (pages 49-50), with minimal loss of image and text; trifling signs of handling; a very good copy.

The only copy of any trade catalogue from Hoopers Limited ('Established 1866') located in Trove is in the State Library of South Australia. It is listed as having 126 pages, and dated '1925?'; it may or may not be an example of this item.
