Mimeographed album, 173 pp, illustrated; some browning typical of this paper stock, original boards with colour onlay, rubbed, divisional library stamps and release label. Melbourne, published by Fourth Division A.M.C. Association, 1933.
Remembering the Field Ambulance. An uncommon work, published by the Fourth Division Army Medical Corps in 1933, it includes all manner of poetry and cartoons commemorating the war. The Division was comprised of the 4th, 12th, and 13th Field Ambulances, but the present work casts its net far wider, printing notes on everyone from the RAN to the nurses. The various illustrations, all in simple line printing, are by well-known figures such as Hal Gye and Leyshon White, the latter contributing the colour-printed image of a digger smelling a dandelion on the front cover. An Honor Roll for each of the 4th, 12th and 13th Field Ambulances is printed at the start of the book.
