Michael Treloar Antiquarian Booksellers, established in Adelaide in March 1976 is a longstanding member of the Australian and New Zealand Association of Antiquarian Booksellers (ANZAAB) and the International League of Antiquarian Booksellers (ILAB).
A large out-of-print and antiquarian stock is maintained at two retail outlets in the centre of Adelaide. A selection of the stock held at our main outlet, opposite the State Library of South Australia, is available online.
We deal across the board in quality out-of-print and antiquarian books, as well as in vintage photographs, manuscripts and autographs. Our second outlet, the Antique Market Bookroom, is very much a traditional secondhand bookshop and houses over 30,000 titles – a browser's paradise!
Catalogues of our specialities and recent acquisitions are issued regularly, and are available online and, on request, through the post. We also conduct worldwide book searches, and are happy to receive your wants lists. Michael Treloar is an approved valuer for the Government Cultural Gifts Program (books and manuscripts, especially Australian; and photographic material).
Specialised auctions of desirable printed material, photographs and manuscripts form a growing part of our business. We actively solicit offers of quality material in these fields, either for auction, consignment, or outright purchase.
Last but not least, our long-running Town Hall book sales are events not to be missed.

We will send out only occasional emails to let you know of our new catalogues, auctions and sales.
